Google maintains a list of search refinement labels that are used within topics and several other places.
If you create a label for your search engine with the same name as one of these labels, users of your search engine will also have the
benefit of seeing relevant sites labeled by others.
If you would like to use these labels but have them appear with nicer names in
your search results (e.g. "For patients" instead of "for_patients"), please visit the Advanced tab in your Custom Search Engine's control
panel to learn about formatting and uploading context files.

You can promote newer documents in your search engine by using the following labels. These labels vary in the amount that they boost new content -- recent1 being the weakest and recent4 being the closest approximation to "sort by date".
