L’Oreal Paris has released 2 more free skins with shapes. Located right inside the main entrance to Calla on the left hand side are 2 additional displays that contain shapes and skins from with makeup from L’Oreal Paris. I still have the same issues with the shape that I brought up in L’Oreal Paris at Calla - Skins & Shapes. It is my understand that you can also find these skins at Love, Ally, Nuclear Boutique, and other locations.

I stopped what I was doing, teleported there, and forced him to come along with me. I originally went there to pick up the Merry Jingly set, but seemed to have picked up what I went for, the Snowflake Coat, and the adorable Holly Jewelry.

Skin Within proudly presents the opening of it’s new Sim. Skin Within, known for it’s unique high quality female skins, specializing in ethnic skins, now has an entire Sim to show it’s products.To celebrate this, we will be hosting the following events during the launch week: 

SPECIAL SKINS FOR THIS EVENT ONLY
Each day of the week, from October 17 to October 23, there will be a special makeup for sale for one of the Skin Within skins. These makeups are different and exciting, and they will only be available on that particular day. After the launch week, these makeups will never be available again. Your chance to get a unique look!

MAGICAL BOXES
During the launch there will be three gift boxes spread across the new Skin Within island. These boxes contain gifts donated by Skin Within, Nikki Slade and Alchemy Angels. After a box is found, it will disappear and reappear elsewhere in the Sim. The gift from Skin Within is a skin, specially designed for the launch. This skin is unique, similar to the skins that usually sell for L$ 1200. It is free, but the only way to get it is to find the box during the launch!

There will be a DJ to bring in the party spirit. It’s not everyday Skin Within opens a new island, let’s celebrate! 

THE SHOP
The Skin Within shop has been specially designed and is a beautiful building. Be sure to pay attention to details such as the elaborate ceiling. I am quite proud of it. I have also included private changing rooms, after popular demand. Try them out! 

THE SKINS
Skin Within has 11 skin lines, each with 24 makeup options. They are sold for L$ 1200 each or L$ 3600 for a set of six. Each skin line has been designed from scratch, and body as well as face reflect the different ethnicities they represent.

The special makeup for the Nadia skinline, available only on October 17.

My shoes are the Vidalia Pumps in Metallic Noir from Armidi. These shoes are beautiful! They have a sleek shape and a substantial heel.

 I love these shoes. Need to go back to Armidi and find them.

Also these particular skins come with the usual non freckled and freckled versions, and a third "light freckled" version too, which has less freckles, but more than none, clearly!   Available in the range of five Vogue skintones, these really are THE makeups for summer.

Summer 1:  Almost totally bare, with just a lil bit of shine on the lips and a tiny trace of neutral eyeliner.

I saw the FashCon notice from Freak Boutique come up and zipped my happy butt right over there. I’ve seen other typing AO’s, mostly a feathered pen and ledger and the very creepy mouth-moving one, but never anything like this. It’s a sprial-bound notebook and pretty little ink pen that writes as you type. The paper is covered in cute doodles and text. I’ll need to zoom in more to see what it says. The notebook and matching pen come in 16 different colors, so there’s something there for everyone…or you can match it to your outfit!

Now, Mikayla has been releasing soooooooooo many tanks lately, but these, these are by FAR my fav evah!

They all have a skull theme, and we all love skulls don't we now? I think we do.  Anyhoo, I'm not supposed to be on my computer as it's "family" time, but hey... I have 2 mins and I saw these and I just thought "I *must* blog them!" so here I am, doing just that!

The tanks come in a variety of skull themed prints as you can see are are only $L65 each, they have a low cut neck that shows off just enough cleavage and as i've said before, I LOVE THEM!

Hunters on the sim can also find a free scripted lighter and a scripted watch which tells the time in SLT or GMT when touched!

What is my wish list for 2007 items? Now keep in mind this is my dream….

1. skins - specifically maybe Vogue line & Tete a Pied lines….hey, they did it last year
2. Hair - specifically ETD - I know she said she’s not going as wild as she did last year, but 1 design????
3. shoes - maybe some athletic shoes as well as some heels.
4. purse or messenger bag.

And then I saw “Songbird” and all bets were off.

Yeah. I know. I felt the same way the first time I saw it. Oh. My. God. Gimme. Gimme. Gimme. True, there is an element of the dress that makes me feel like I should be serving a mai tai to table five, but that’s part of the reason I love it. It’s a dress that gives off a deliberately formal vibe — your brain says it’s so nummy it must be a costume - only it isn’t. This little number makes me drip with the desire to possess a set of sultry pipes so I could take the stage in it and belt out a rendition of “Skylark” to bring down the house.

As luck would have it, I had *just* picked up the “Abby” hairstyle from Diversity Hair a couple days prior to Simone laying “Songbird” on me.

Hairspay, the all hair island, featuring Mirada and Sinsation opened this Sunday to the public and features more hair than you can ever hope for. This also replaces Mirada Hair Mall so many of the vendors that you enjoyed from there have gone island-style to Hairspray. After all, who needs a mall dedicated to hair when you have an entire island where you can breathe hair?
