What we’re about
Welcome to the Pacific Photographic Society of San Diego. We are an active hands-on photography group for all levels of photographers and for photographic expertise from novice to expert.
Our emphasis is on photography in the field and in the studio, as well as photo finishing, education and networking.
We offer our members a wide range of photography related events including several monthly photo shoots at various locations, seminars, classes, educational shoots and networking opportunities with other photographers.
We welcome all photographers from beginner to professional and seek to provide an environment that is friendly, professional and enriching for all.
We actively seek the input of our members to ensure that the group provides the activities that are both beneficial and enjoyable to participating photographers.

See all- Street Photography April - Mission Fed Artwalk1550 California St, San Diego, CA
San Diego's longest running and largest festival, the 40th annual Mission Fed Artwalk, will take place in Little Italy the weekend of April 27 & 28. The Artwalk starts at 11:00am, and the Little Italy Mercato opens at 8:00am.
Let's plan to meet at 10:00am at the Little Italy Trolley station. We'll walk to the Little Italy farmer's market and spend an hour or so shooting at the market until the Artwalk festival starts, and then we'll see what street photography opportunities the festival presents.

Is street photography of children ever ok? (summary: it's complicated)What to Bring:
Bring your favorite street photography gear and good walking shoes. A fixed 35 or 50mm lens or a medium zoom would work well.Parking will be challenging, please plan accordingly. The trolley may be your best bet for this event, or biking if that's an option available to you. I'll research parking options and will post them here. If others have suggestions for parking, please post them in the comments.
