Beach volleyball attracts 42 teams

A total of 42 teams competed Saturday as the Cape Coast Beach Volleyball Club's summer tournament series resumed at Cocoa Beach Pier. 

The series has been so popular that Junior Boys divisions were added Saturday.

Bobby Ives and Maddox Moss defeated Rylan Diaz and Grant Paparella 15-10 in the Boys Junior Gold Division.

The summer's final event, Queen of the Court, will be held Tuesday, June 26 at the Pier.

 U18’s Gold Division winners: Penelope Colombo & Maddalena Fairchild won 22-20 over Kylie Cardone & Alex Stouch

16’s Gold Division winners: Jordan White & Carmen Zipf won 15-8 over Sarah Pouliot & Trisha Suffern

16’s Silver Division winners: Kaylee Flynn & Morgan Odgen won 15-11 over Emma Moffitt & Krysta Pazos

14’s Gold Division winners: Kelly Merz & Sydney Williams won 21-12 over Katie Callenberger & Jordyn Patrick

14’s Silver Division winners: Jessica Laisi & Taylor Shaw won 15-13 over Bryanna Henderson & Zoe Wall

12’s Gold Division winners: Jenna Gay & Claire Pavick won 15-3 over Rylie Loggins & Kasey Morgan

12’s Silver Division winners: Blakely Rye & Tawnee Shaw won 21-13 over Kameron Matanis & Amelia Talbott

Boy’s - Juniors Gold Division winners: Bobby Ives & Maddox Moss won 15-10 over Rylan Diaz & Grant Paparella
