The Series: Earlier this year the two teams met for the 100th time, with Clarkson coming away with its 44th victory. Despite trailing in the all-time series by 12 games, the Golden Knights have dominated over the past decade or so, winning 22 straight matches, including 12 by sweep. Clarkson won in four sets in mid-September against the Bears.

Key Stats for Clarkson (13-9): On offense, the Golden Knights are dead even with their opponents as the Green and Gold have struck for 989 kills and the opposition has done the same. However, Clarkson's defense has made up for the equality, holding teams on the other side of the net to a .122 hitting percentage. The Knights are among the national leaders in digs per set at 21.50, led by junior Kate Isaksen (7.98 digs per set, second in NCAA Division III). Three other players are also averaging better than three digs per set, including Maddie Bredehoeft (3.78 dps), Meghan Edmund (3.26 dps) and Kendall Cheval (3.19 dps).

Key Stats for Potsdam (11-15): Gabby Scott carried the Bears against Clarkson in the first match up, striking for 16 kills, but the rest of the Potsdam offense hit negative in the match with a collective 15 kills and 21 errors. Scott leads the team with 2.77 kills per set and is second on defense with 3.47 digs per set. Natalie Magallon ranks eighth in NCAA Division III in digs per set at 6.13. Potsdam does not put much up in terms of a block, collecting 0.89 blocks per set (41 solo, 84 block assists). By contrast, Clarkson's Rachel Reusch has nearly produced the same amount on the block by herself (33 solo, 60 block assists).
