Alex and Aria’s story starts off with cupid, Ok Ok Cupid! Alejandro first saw Aria's profile and was scrolling through. Under her '6 things you would never would be able to live with out' category he saw that she wittingly put air. What a perfect way to start the conversation. So Alejandro sent a message to Aria that day writing 'Dude! You like air? So do I!', Aria must admit it was definitely an original message, so she responded and the camaraderie started from there. They became friends and talked all the time online until Aria decided it was time for a 'phone date'. They hit it off on the phone just as much as they had texting. They met at Grossmont center ( as friends!) and grabbed dinner together and when they didn't want it to end they went to Barnes and Noble and talked about their favorite books, philosophy for Alejandro and Sci Fi novels for Aria. They both agree looking back now that night was the start of something special. Alex and Aria are super open with each other! They also really appreciate being able to talk about anything, nothing is ever off limits. Alex and Aria can be their true selves around each other and encourage each other to bring out the best versions of themselves! Aria also loves the way Alejandro smiles when he is trying to get away with something he KNOWS isn't gonna fly.... HAHA! Already a great wife! Alex and Aria like one on one time with each other. Either going on a nature walk or taking a trip to Ramona to get fresh eggs or driving up the coast or to LA. They have noticed their lives having been getting so busy with their school /careers they really just like the time that they have alone to be with each other and recenter.

Carl and Jessica met while both visiting friends in Northern Ireland- Carl noticed Jessica getting into a taxi, offered his social media account. Jessica bargained she would exchange her information for a guaranteed tour of England. Carl agreed. I love that! These two are already making compromises! They hit it off and started dating… these two love exploring parts of the world together, they’ve built quite an adventure so far! They also enjoy nights in on the sofa with a good old film and snacks. Trying new food is also fun for Jessica and Carl, but Jessica pushes to try foods out of Carl’s comfort zone, but no complaints from Carl so far! Carl hadn’t met Jessica’s parents in person yet, but he knew that he had to make Jessica his wife! Carl felt at the time they were a perfect match, so he asked her parents for her hand in marriage and with their blessing on his visit in June 2019. Carl surprised Jessica in the hotel they were staying at in Sedona, AZ. Carl got her to the hotel room and told her " How much you mean to me and I can't see anyone else in my future, but you" Then he said "can you do me favor" she replied " you want me to move my leg" Carl replied to her "No! Will you marry me". Jessica of course said “yes”, for their honeymoon they are headed to Tokyo! Carl booked it as a surprise for Christmas for Jessica, because she has always told him how she want to visit the far east.
Steve and Kelly met through Chemistry.com. Their first date was at Karl Strauss in Sorrento Valley on a Monday night. Steve still remembers what Kelly was wearing; black jeans and a black leather jacket with a print button up shirt. Isn’t that sweet! They hit it off and had a great evening. They dated for five months before Kelly met Steve’s twins, who were 5 at the time. These two share the same values in doing what’s right and putting family first. Steve feels more himself with Kelly than he has ever felt because she sees the best in him and is really his partner. They both spend a lot of time making sure that everyone in their lives is well taken care of and happy. Kelly and Steve have always been there for each other no matter what. Steve asked for Kelly’s hand in marriage on New Year’s Eve 2011 when they went to dinner at Harney Sushi in Old Town, then they stopped by the Hotel Del for wine and cheese and went to the NYE party at L’Auberge Del Mar where Kelly dreamed of getting married. Just after midnight Steve proposed on the rooftop overlooking the ocean.
Ponte Winery reminds us of wineries in the Napa Valley with its gorgeous and romantic ambiance. It’s no wonder Mary and Simon wanted to say their “i-do’s” at there! We can’t say enough great things about how stunning we think Balboa Park is. With so many options on where to shoot and beautiful backgrounds, Balboa Park is a real winner in San Diego. So when Grace and Nick wanted a location with options and beauty… only one place came to mind. I am so happy with the way their images came out. We can’t wait to shoot their big day in Summer 2020.

Christina and Homer are truly meant for one another! While Homer and Christina were in San Miguel de Allende along with some friends at a restaurant for dinner. Homer wanted to ask for Christina’s hand in marriage! After their meal and a few glasses/bottles of wine and live Mariachi, Homer thought “how could she possibly say no?” Well she said “yes”… Christina was so excited! For their Honeymoon these two are headed to Spain, starting off in Barcelona and making our way down to Morocco, then back up in Madrid. Christina and Homer love to travel. Barcelona is one of Homer’s favorite cities and he can’t wait to share it with Christina. Christina always wanted to explore Morocco because she likes the vibrant colors and the patterns there.

Megan and Ryan met via Match.com… they both wanted to find a loving and meaningful relationship. They started off by talking and texting, then met for the first date. Both Ryan and Megan really enjoyed their time together and knew that they wanted more of it. So that’s what these two did. Ryan asked for Megan’s hand in marriage on Christmas morning! The ring had been wrapped up under the tree for a couple of days and Megan had no idea. Ryan pestered Megan all morning while she was cooking. He kept asking her to open presents. When she finally opened that box, there was the beautiful ring in the box and Ryan asked Megan to marry him. What a wonderful Christmas these two had! Megan loves Ryan’s sense of humor and his wonderful personality. He can make her laugh so hard in any situation. While Ryan loves that Megan is fiercely loyal and always there for the ones she loves. She's always willing to help in any situation. And she can handle Ryan’s weirdness, so patient and kind.
Twin Oaks is such a stunning venue! The light peaks through the tree’s at just the perfect time for Rosanne and Drew to say their “I do’s”. We simply love shooting at this location. Rosanne and Drew knew this was the venue to host their big day the minute they saw the magical vibe Twin Oaks gives. Not only did we have the time of our lives shooting so did their guests! They danced the night away and celebrated this union. Honestly… this group was one in a million! The love flowing at Rosanne and Drew’s wedding was legit! We love days like this. It’s what you live for as a wedding photographer!
