MiniStation™ Extreme is a rugged portable hard drive equipped with a unique wrap-around USB cable and optional secure hardware encryption. With USB3.0 support and backward compatibility with USB2.0, it works with both PC and Mac®.
USB3.0 + TurboPC EX Supports Faster Data Transfer Rates
Utilizing the high speed RAM of your Windows PC, TurboPC EX can increase file transfer rates by up to 4X* over competing USB2.0 portable hard drives by making system adjustments to increase performance substantially.
MiniStation Extreme features US Military Standard shock protection. Its ruggedized chassis and specialized internal bumpers absorb and transfer shock away from the hard disk due to accidental bumps and drops from up to 2 meters.

ECO Manager is an energy efficiency tool used to conserve energy and reduce battery consumption by regulating the power usage of the hard drive, cutting power to the drive during extended periods of inactivity.
■Backup Utility
Buffalo's Backup Utility is an easy-to-use and fully featured backup software for Windows PCs and can be used to back up one or multiple computers with a single Buffalo external hard drive.
■RAMDISK
RAMDISK is a simple utility that allows you to create a RAM disk on your Windows PC which creates a small, but extremely fast environment to work on files in.
