Qatar Beach Volleyball Team (QFB) today achieved good results at the start of the Grand Osaka Asian Beach Volleyball Championships in Japan, which kicked off today and ends on Monday.
Qatar is participating in the championship with two teams: Qatar A and Qatar (B). Qatar (A) team is led by Sherif Younis, while Qatar (B) team is Ahmed Tejan.
In today's matches, Qatar Team B defeated Japan (4) with a two-game tie, with details (21-18, 16-21 and 16-14). Qatar A also won the Hong Kong team (2) with two straight points, (21.4, 21.7).
Qatar (A) will face the New Zealand (2) on Saturday, while Qatar team (B) will compete with Saudi Arabia 1.
The Japan Volleyball Association hosts their first AVC Beach Volleyball Tour as"Grand Front Osaka Master" from October 6 to 9.
Qatar teams have ended intensive training sessions on Sunday in Doha that in preparations for this prestigious championship.
After participating in Grand Front Osaka Master, the Qatar beach volleyball team will fly to China to take part in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Qinzhou Open which will be held from October 11 to 15 on the Gold Coast of Maowei Sea.
