Round-up of planning applications for the DE55 area in January 2024

A number of planning applications have been submitted to the three local authorities which cover our area during the month of January.

Here’s a round-up of the applications for the DE55 area which have been submitted to Amber Valley Borough Council:

AVA-2023-0831: Moorwood Farm, Inns Lane, Moorwood Moor, Alfreton. DE55 7NU. Change of use of part of an agricultural field to a dog exercise field to be used by the public to exercise dogs.

AVA-2024-0054: Pesto At The Peacock, Chesterfield Road, Oakerthorpe, Alfreton. DE55 7LN. Listed building consent for replacing existing internal doors with two new fire doors.

AVA-2024-0041: 6 Peveril Drive, Riddings, Alfreton. DE55 4AP. Rear single storey extension.

AVA-2024-0037: The New Xotic Fish Centre, Unit D2, Derbyshire County Council Units, Salcombe Road, Alfreton. DE55 7RG. Change of use from B1 to B2 (car mechanics and MOT / Service Centre).

AVA-2024-0034: David Nieper Academy, Grange Street, Alfreton. DE55 7JA. Erection of detached modular unit to form office and administrative accommodation.

AVA-2024-0026: 34 Parks Avenue, South Wingfield, Alfreton. DE55 7NL. Rear and side single storey extensions.

AVA-2024-0008: Butchers Arms, Four Lane Ends, Oakerthorpe, Alfreton. DE55 7LN. Retention of existing public house (Sui Generis) and erection of two three-bedroom dwellings to the rear of the public house, utilising existing access from Chesterfield Road, with associated landscaping and parking spaces.

AVA-2024-0022: Boden Cote, Lynam Road, South Wingfield, Alfreton. DE55 7LS. Demolition of dwelling and provision of replacement dwelling.

AVA-2023-0947: Coalburn Lodge, Lynam Road, South Wingfield, Alfreton. DE55 7LS. Proposed garden room.

AVA-2023-0929: Thalia Aesthetics SkinCare And Beauty, 58 Grange Street, Alfreton. DE55 4JB. Application for sui-generis to add spmu tattooing treatments.

And here’s a round-up of the applications for the DE55 area which have been submitted to Bolsover District Council:

24/00018/FUL: 5 Pennine Close, Tibshelf, Alfreton. DE55 5PR. Ramped Access to newly created entrance doorway.

24/00002/TPO: 18 Littlemoor Lane, Newton, Alfreton. DE55 5TY. Prune lower branches of oak tree (BOL/26).

23/00645/FUL: 30 Church Street, South Normanton, Alfreton. DE55 2BT. Vehicular access and hardstanding.

23/00636/DETOTH: Fairbrook House, Clover Nook Road, South Normanton, Alfreton. DE55 4RF. Installation of two Nr solar PV systems consisting of 512 KWp on the West Building (CN2) and 610KWp on the East Building (CN1). Along with permanent edge protection to allow future maintenance to be undertaken safely.

24/00068/DISCON: Woolley Farm, Badger Lane, Woolley Moor, Alfreton. DE55 6FG. Discharge of Condition 3 (Remediation Strategy) pursuant to planning permission 22/00131/OL.

24/00059/DEM: Old Colliery Yard, Main Road, Morton, Alfreton. DE55 6HL. Prior notification of proposed demolition of former shaft winding house and electrical substation comprising part of the Morton Colliery.

24/00048/AMEND: 94B Main Road, Morton, Alfreton. DE55 6HH. Non material amendment to planning application 23/00722/FLH for addition to site owned by applicant (lane/access drive) linking the site directly to Main Road B6014, including new double gates and two additional car parking spaces.

24/00030/CATPO: Highcliffe House, Main Road, Higham, Alfreton. DE55 6EH. Notification of intention to prune two Oak trees within Higham Conservation Area.

23/00704/FLH: 21 Goose Green Lane, Shirland, Alfreton. DE55 6BR. Retention of a shed to the front (amended plans).
