The Quest V80 Double Blizzard metal detector comes with two search coils, the Blizzard11 (28 x 26 cm) and the Blizzard 9 (24 x 14 cm) search coil.With a frequency range of 5 to 80 KHz, it can switch between different search frequencies simultaneously. Built-in gyro sensor
Instruct the detector to automatically start ground balancing without pressing a button. All you then have to do is find a spot where there is no metal and then pump the search coil up and down.
The Gyro sensor recognizes this movement and then the automatic ground balance is performed. You can also set the V80 to automatically jump to energy-saving mode as soon as the search coil is not moved for 5 seconds. And if you move the search coil from left to right again, it activates automatically.
Display
The display of the V80 has backlighting in several levels so allowing you to read all information from the clear display at all times and even in bright sunlight. Unlike other matrix pixel displays, the reflective LCD consumes less than 10um of power, saving power so you can search longer.
Compact construction
The V80 features a 4-piece handle which is very compactly retractable to a whopping 49 cm, making transport and storage much easier. The armrest can be easily moved and removed from the handle by means of two screws.
The handle to which the control box is attached is also easy to adjust by means of a snap lock. After extending and adjusting to your length, the V80 construction is perfectly balanced and thus provides a comfortable searching experience.
Blizzard search coil
The V80 comes with the latest 28 x 26 cm Blizzard11 search coil. This double-D search coil is lightweight and robust, providing deeper penetration and higher resistance to mineralization. (Optionally available is the 24 x 14 cm Blizzard9 which is included with the V80 Bundle).
Various tone setting
If you like to identify buried objects through audio tones, you can set this on the V80 completely to your personal preference. You can select how many different tones you want to hear where you can choose from 2, 3, 5 and 99 tones.
Of the selected number of tones you can adjust the tonebreak so for example a low tone for ID values from 1 to 25 and a middle tone from 26 to 70 and a high tone from 71 to 99. You can also adjust the volume and pitch for each tone.
The V80 features a built-in 5600 mAh lithium battery which has more power. You can easily charge the battery with the included USB type-c charging cable. The battery life is 10 to 15 hours.
With the V80, you can quickly and easily perform an interference suppression with the push of a button that searches in 10 seconds for the frequency channel on which no to little interference is received.
