This Jaguar XJ Series 2 (1974-1979) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1976 Jaguar XJ12L was first delivered to British Motor Cars of Portland in Oregon and is finished in British Racing Green over Cinnamon leather. The car was fitted with a fiberglass body kit in the 1980s, and the exterior was reportedly stripped and refinished in 2018. Power comes from a numbers-matching 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional features include air conditioning, aftermarket cruise control, a Pioneer head unit, a louvered hood, tinted glass, Series III taillights, four-wheel disc brakes, and 16″ Ronal wheels. The selling dealer recently acquired the car, and the brake booster is said to have been rebuilt in September 2021. This long-wheelbase XJ is now offered with a window sticker, an owner’s manual, service records, a replacement cruise-control stalk, and a clean Oregon title.

The car is said to have been fitted with a fiberglass bodykit in the 1980s, and in 2018 the exterior was reportedly stripped, the body kit and trim were removed, and the car was refinished in its factory-delivered British Racing Green. The aftermarket bodywork is said to have repainted and refitted at that time along with replacement weatherstripping. Additional exterior details include a louvered hood, a debadged rear fascia with removed reverse lights, Series III taillights, and dual exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance. The selling dealer notes rub marks in the window tint on the driver’s door.

Five-spoke 16″ Ronal wheels feature polished lips, body-color centers, and modified Jaguar hood badges as center caps. The wheels are mounted with 225/60 Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires, and disc brakes are equipped at each corner. The brake booster was reportedly rebuilt in September 2021.
