This Jaguar XJ Series 3 (1980-1992) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1982 Jaguar XJ6 was reportedly acquired by the selling dealer from the long-term owner of approximately 36 years in February 2022. The car is finished in Racing Green over a Biscuit leather interior and powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, European-spec headlights, a replacement steering wheel, four-wheel disc brakes, a sunroof, cruise control, and an AM/FM cassette stereo. Service in 2022 is said to have consisted of flushing the coolant as well as replacing the fuel pump, fuel filter, starter relay, heater valve, front brake rotors and pads, and brake master cylinder. This XJ6 shows 83k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

The body is finished in Racing Green and is equipped with a “leaper” hood ornament, a sunroof, chrome trim and bumpers, European-spec headlights with H4 and H1 bulbs, and dual exhaust outlets. According to the selling dealer, the windshield has been replaced and rust repair was performed around the windshield opening. The Carfax report notes an accident in April 2003, which resulted in “minor damage” to the left-rear of the vehicle.
