This Chevrolet Camaro 3rd Generation 1982-1992 got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1985 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z was manufactured at Chevrolet’s Norwood, Ohio facility and is finished in Yellow Gold over tan cloth upholstery. Power is provided by a 5.0-liter LB9 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes 16″ alloy wheels, fog lights, power-operated windows and locks, air conditioning, glass T-top roof panels, and a Delco AM/FM cassette stereo. The car spent time in Pennsylvania before being acquired by the selling dealer in December 2021. This IROC-Z is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer in Florida with brand apparel, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The car is finished in Yellow Gold and features hood louvers, fog lights, a rear lip spoiler, and IROC-Z graphics and stripes. The car is equipped with removable glass T-top roof panels, storage bags for which are included in the sale. Blemishes in the finish and corrosion on the body can be seen in the gallery below.
Factory 16” five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 245/50 Sumic GT50A tires. The IROC-Z featured an upgraded suspension compared to contemporary Camaros, and braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners.
The tan cloth interior features front bucket seats and a fold-down rear bench. Features include power-operated locks and windows, a Delco AM/FM cassette stereo, and a center console. Auxiliary gauges are mounted on the dashboard. Rips are present on portions of the driver seat upholstery, and the seller notes the factory stereo exhibits difficulty in tuning, the air conditioning does not blow cold, and the driver window shows a crack and scratches.
A three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges measuring coolant temperature, fuel level, voltage, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 88k miles and the Carfax report shows a mileage of 187k in the last entry dated July 2015. Total mileage is unknown.
The 5.0-liter LB9 V8 features tuned-port fuel injection and was factory rated at 215 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Pennsylvania from its initial entry in 1989.
