This 1987 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z is a white-over-gray coupe that is powered by a fuel-injected 5.0-liter V8 mated with a four-speed automatic transmission and an optional limited-slip differential with a performance axle ratio. The car was first delivered to Classic Chevrolet of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, was previously sold on BaT in August 2021, and was acquired by the selling dealer in January 2022. Equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, fog lights, an engine oil cooler, removable glass T-top roof panels, 16″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a Delco cassette stereo. This IROC-Z now shows 1,500 miles and is offered by the selling dealer in Massachusetts with a copy of the window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.
The bodywork is finished in white (40U) with a color-matched body kit and integrated rear spoiler. Additional features include removable glass T-top roof panels, fog lights, hood louvers, silver IROC-Z graphics, and two-tone lower pinstripes. The selling dealer notes that the power antenna has been rebuilt.
Aluminum 16″ wheels wear IROC-Z center caps and are wrapped with 245/50 Goodyear Eagle VR50 tires. Standard equipment includes power-assisted steering and a special sport suspension with Bilstein/Delco shocks, and this car was optioned with power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The interior features gray custom cloth bucket seats with patterned inserts and white piping along with a contrasting black dashboard and center console. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a cargo privacy cover, a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a ceiling-mounted console, and a Delco cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer in addition to power windows, locks, and mirrors. The C-pillar headliner is loose.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 145-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, battery voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows just over 1,500 miles, a handful of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 5.0-liter V8 features Tuned Port Injection and is equipped with an optional engine oil cooler.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and an optional limited-slip differential and performance axle ratio.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage from its first entry in 2012 and lists history in Tennessee and Illinois.
