44k-Mile 1991 Jaguar XJ-S Classic Collection V12 Convertible
This 1991 Jaguar XJ-S Classic Collection convertible is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in beige over Magnolia leather. It is equipped with a power-retractable brown soft top, fog lights, 15″ basketweave alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable sport seats, cruise control, and air conditioning. The car spent time in Pennsylvania and West Virginia before the selling dealer’s acquisition in November 2023, and subsequent service is said to have included replacing the front shocks and braking components as well as changing the oil. This XJ-S convertible shows 44k miles and is now offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, a top boot, a green rain fly, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The car left the factory finished in Oyster, and it features a power-retractable brown soft top that shows signs of repair, as well as quad headlights, fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, a leaper hood ornament, dual exhaust outlets, Classic Collection badging, and a telescoping antenna. Flaws such as a crack in the left taillight lens, a blemish on the right rocker panel, and paint chips and scratches along the body are shown in the photo gallery in addition to paint meter readings.
The 15″ basketweave alloy wheels were reportedly refinished under current ownership and are mounted with Pirelli P600 tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and the selling dealer states the brake master cylinder, rear calipers, front pads, and front rotors were replaced in November 2023 along with the front shocks.
The heated power-adjustable sport seats are upholstered in Magnolia leather with contrast piping, and additional interior amenities include cruise control, an onboard computer, and air conditioning. Creasing is visible on the left seat, and the center console wood trim is cracked. The selling dealer notes the radio is locked, therefore it is currently inoperative.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 44k miles.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 263 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in December 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Corrosion is present on underside components, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale as well as touch-up paint, a tool kit, a rain fly, and a convertible top boot.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. A gap in entries is present between 1991 and 2001.
