This Jaguar X308 XJR (1998-2003) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2000 Jaguar XJR is powered by a supercharged 4.0-liter V8 paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Platinum Metallic over Warm Charcoal leather, this Jaguar was sold new in Idaho. It then went to a second owner before the seller purchased it in Washington in July 2006. This XJR shows 41k miles and is now offered with a Carfax report and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.
XJR exterior features include a body-colored grille surround, stainless-steel mesh grille, and enlarged exhaust outlets. The XJR also features sport-tuned suspension and variable-ratio rack-and-pinion steering. This example is finished in Platinum Metallic (MDZ). The Carfax report and the seller note that it was involved in a rear-end collision in 2009, which reportedly required the rear bumper to be repainted.
Factory 18″ alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires, and the condition of the wheels can be seen in close-up pictures in the gallery.
The Warm Charcoal leather interior includes wood accents on the dash, steering wheel, console, and door panels. Jaguar’s J-gate shifter for the 5-speed automatic transmission is topped with a wooden shift knob. The power front seats are heated, and the car is equipped with a power-actuated tilting and telescoping steering column.
The digital odometer indicates just over 41k miles, of which the seller has added approximately 16k. The car reportedly has been driven only minimally for the past eight years and garaged. Features include an AM/FM CD stereo, automatic climate control, a power sunroof, and cruise control.
The supercharged 4.0-liter DOHC V8 was rated by the factory at 370 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque when new. The upper timing chain tensioner has been replaced, and the most recent lube, oil, and filter service was done in August 2010 at 40k miles. The Carfax report shows ownership history in Idaho and Washington and notes the rear-end damage in June 2009.
