This 2009 Jaguar XJ Super V8 is one of a reported 140 Portfolio examples produced for the US market, and it is powered by a supercharged 4.2-liter V8 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Celestial Black over navy blue leather, it is equipped with 20″ Selena alloy wheels, a self-leveling air suspension, a sunroof, xenon headlights, heated and ventilated front seats, power-adjustable and heated outboard rear seats, four-zone automatic climate control, navigation, adaptive cruise control, rear picnic tables, a twin-screen rear entertainment system, an Alpine sound system, and a trunk-mounted DVD/CD changer. The car spent time in Texas prior to its 2023 acquisition by the selling dealer and subsequent relocation to New Jersey. This Super V8 has 43k miles and is now offered in New Jersey with manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.
The car is finished in Celestial Black (PEJ) with chrome mirror caps and milled-aluminum grilles, fender vents, door handles, window trim, and trunk garnish moldings. Additional exterior details include xenon headlights with washers, fog lights, power-folding mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, front and rear parking sensors, a power-operated sunroof, and dual exhaust outlets. Scratches in the paint are shown in the gallery below along with VIN stickers from various body panels.
Alloy 20″ Selena wheels wear Heritage center caps and are wrapped in 255/35 Nexen N3000 tires. The car was equipped from the factory with self-leveling air springs and a Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS) system.
Navy leather with Champagne piping lines the seating surfaces while Rich Oak wood veneers accent the dashboard, center console, door panels, and fold-down rear picnic trays. Additional appointments include heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, power-adjustable and heated rear outboard seats, four-zone automatic climate control, rear sunblinds, navigation, adaptive cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, a bright-finish J-gate surround, metal doorsill plates, a twin-screen rear entertainment system, a 320-watt Alpine sound system, and a trunk-mounted DVD/CD changer. The headliner reportedly was replaced in preparation for the sale.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 43k miles.
The supercharged 4.2-liter V8 was factory rated at 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in August 2022.
