This 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 was purchased new by the seller who has since added all of the 15k indicated miles. It is finished in Competition Orange over Charcoal Black cloth and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a Torsen helical limited-slip differential, 19″ 10-spoke wheels, Brembo front brakes, a rear spoiler, and Recaro sport seats. Modifications include an MGW short throw shifter, an oil catch can, slotted front brake rotors, a Ford LS-style brake ducting kit, adjustable front camber plates, and an adjustable panhard bar. This Boss 302 is now offered by the original owner with a Boss 302 ownership kit, a window sticker, service records, spare parts and wheels, a car cover, manufacturer’s literature and accessories, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Competition Orange and features a Boss 302-specific front fascia, a blacked-out grille with blocked-off fog light openings, front and rear spoilers, and a quad-exit exhaust system with side and rear outlets. Clear paint protection film is said to cover the hood and front bumper. The seller notes a scratch on the hood, damage on the front chin spoiler, and a chip and pitting in the windshield.
The 19″ 10-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires the seller states require replacement. The right-front wheel has curb marks. The Boss 302 features electric power steering, five-way adjustable dampers, unique front and rear coil springs, and a revised rear sway bar and bushings when compared with the GT. Modifications include slotted front brake rotors, adjustable front camber plates, a Ford LS-style brake ducting kit, and an adjustable panhard bar.
The cabin features manually adjustable Recaro bucket seats trimmed in Charcoal Black cloth with “Boss 302” embroidery on the backrests. Additional equipment includes engine-turned dashboard trim, air conditioning, a CD stereo, TracKey, cruise control, and rear seats. The seller states that an MGW Shifters short throw shifter has been fitted.
The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 15k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.0-liter Road Runner V8 features a forged rotating assembly, CNC ported cylinder heads, and revised camshafts for a factory rating of 444 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. A strut tower brace spans the engine bay and the seller reports that an oil catch can is fitted.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a 3.73:1 Torsen helical limited-slip differential. The seller notes corrosion on underside hardware.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Bill Knight Ford of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total MSRP of $43,465. Manufacturer’s literature and accessories are also included in the sale along with a copy of the MSO, a car cover, purchase documents, a spare set of wheels and tires, and other spare and removed parts.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Colorado with one owner since new.
