For Sale: 1987 Chevrolet Camaro in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

This gorgeous 1987 Iroc Z-28 Camaro has gone through a freshly almost full ground up Restoration. Everything Underneath the car was rebuilt/ replaced and take a look at this stunning one of a kind show worthy paint job. The car has approximately 80,000 original miles and about 3,000 on the restoration.

EXTERIOR: Started as a Rust Free Iroc Z-28 that was completely stripped down to repaint. All the jambs have been painted as well as the engine bay. The paint is a custom 1 of 1 and is quite stunning. All the weather stripping has been replaced with new parts. The glass is all original. It's sitting on all new American Racing wheels that are offset to give it a staggered stance. The Disc brakes have been replaced and that includes calipers, brake pads, and rotors. Take this thing out for a weekend cruise and get compliments wherever you go!

INTERIOR: The interior is original to the car. Finished in light grey and presents itself in very great shape for the original mileage. Take note of the slight wear to the driver seat side bolster. This IROC has been deleted from A/C. It features the original tilt steering wheel, and in the center console is the original 5spd manual shifter.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Pop the hood on this beauty and you will find a show worthy sight. Inside has been finished in the same gloss paint. Instead of the stock engine you will find a hopped up very healthy sounding 383 stroker equipped with forged H beam rods, Wiseco flat top pistons. The Dart Iron Eagle heads are equipped with Crower lifters, HV Melling pump, Comp Cam with a 224/231 lift, TPIS intake manifold, MSD Ignition, and 30LB injectors. Also, a very nice Aluminum 4 core radiator has been added as well as ceramic coated long tube headers. The engine is mated to a 5 spd manual transmission equipped with a lightweight flywheel, and stage 2 clutch.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk hatch pops up and stays nicely, again new weather stripping has been added. All the jambs are painted beautifully as well! The interior of the trunk is original and in great condition. There are some light scratches on the driver side plastic trim. The carpet looks great!

UNDERSIDE: Underneath was cleaned, prepped, and undercoated, new suspension put on including Lowering springs, Brakes, Stainless steel exhaust, and 373 rear gears in the axle.

Everything looks like new or in new condition and does not disappoint.
