nice 1985 Camaro base model, in burgundy on grey, with only 45,501
miles. Third-Gen Camaro's are very popular, more so than the
93-2002 versions. The low, wide-body makes for a very comfortable
ride, and great looks even on the base models. This one comes with
the peppy LB8 173 cubic inch V6 rated at at 135 horsepower @ 5100
rpm and 165 lb-ft torque @ 3600 rpm. Enough power to move this
sharp Chevrolet around just fine. The exterior looks good, and the
body side moldings, nice wheel & tire combination and low miles
makes this driver a good choice for daily use. The very cool 80's
interior is the well equipped, still looks fresh, and is quite
comfortable. The air conditioning will require service to return it
to the factory arctic blast it used to be. Otherwise, all installed
equipment is working, including tilt wheel, AM/FM radio, cruise
control, power brakes, and power steering. This is a great
alternative to a new car, for sure. New Camaros are three times
plus the price of this classic. This car could be enjoyed as-is, or
some might want to mod it out with a nice V8 and other performance
goodies. Z28's and IROC cars command a much higher price, making
this Camaro one to consider.
