Description
English: Medaillon of tribute to the Nicaraguan writer Rubén Darío in the Parque de Alfonso Torres in Cartagena (Spain). It is accompanied by a text that reads:

On March 26, 1972, this monument to Rubén Darío was inaugurated in Cartagena. On November 26, 2016, on the occasion of the centenary of his death, the poetic festival Deslinde, remembering the link between Antonio Oliver Belmás and Carmen Conde with the work of Rubén Darío, wanted to pay tribute to him by recovering the verses that the original lost, being mayor of this city the Most Excellent Mister Don José López Martínez.

Spanish of conscience, work and desire,
and I conceive nothing and see nothing

but Spanish by my nature".

Español: Medallón de homenaje al escritor nicaragüense Rubén Darío en el parque de Alfonso Torres de Cartagena (España). Le acompaña un texto en el que se lee:

El 26 de marzo de 1972 se inauguró en Cartagena este monumento a Rubén Darío. El 26 de noviembre de 2016, con motivo del centenario de su fallecimiento, el festival poético Deslinde, recordando el vínculo de Antonio Oliver Belmás y Carmen Conde con la obra de Rubén Darío, ha querido homenajearle recuperando los versos que perdió el original, siendo alcalde de esta ciudad el Excmo. Sr. D. José López Martínez.
