This camera is in great working condition. I've used this for years taking photos for ebay, craigslist and some amazing digital photos for large format prints. I've tried a few other cameras but none of them had a macro setting that's worked as well as this does for close up pics of model numbers and pics of surfaces ...etc. Even the camera I've upgraded to doesn't do as well with it's macro setting. The only problems with the camera are superficial. There are a few surface scratches on the body from use and the plastic cover that went over the lens got lost. The lens is still covered automatically when the camera is shut off, this was only to make it look chrome to match the rest of the camera. Unlike other cameras this also has built-in permanent memory in case you forget a memory stick. You can have the smaller Sony cybershot bag that originally came with the camera instead of the lowepro bag in the pics if you'd like.
