Jaguar E-Type Series 2 2+2
This car is in an excellent condition and drives like a new E-Type. This is for sure one of the best high level drivers on the current market.
This car underwent from 1999 to 2002 a nut and bolt restoration .Was totally stripped and got a bare metal respray in its original Regency Red colour . A full leather black interior was installed. No welding was needed during the restoration. The body was absolutely rust-free! The car was wax oiled to keep it in that condition .
Engine (matching) and cylinder head (leadfree) were rebuild. Fuel system, brakes, front and rear suspension, steering, rubber seals,sundeem windscreen, interior. Etc etc Everything was rebuild or renewed. After the restoration this car was only driven ca 10.000 km.
From 2012 to 2013 work and investments were done again. An all synchro Jaguar gearbox with overdrive was built in. New Dayton wire wheels and Vredestein Classic Sprint tyres were installed.
This car has a Dutch registration and comes with books, a file with photos of the restoration, lots of receipts and a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate.
