The iiyama ProLite T1731SAW LCD touchscreen monitor offers advanced Surface Acoustic Wave Touch Technology and remarkably high contrast.
Compared to the classical capacitive or resistive touch sensing principle, the Surface Acoustic Wave Touch Technology does not use a transistor grid in front of the display panel. This results in easier light transmission from the monitor, better colour rendering, and a higher contrast ratio. The glass surface is highly scratch resistant, making it suitable for finger or stylus control and for use in public places or schools. The ProLite T1731SAW meets IP54 standards and is resistant against dust and water splashes.
The rigid base provides the monitor with sufficient stability to allow convenient and trouble-free use. The control buttons are located on the side of the monitor and include a highly useful option to turn off the touch sensing if you need to clean the monitor. To make full use of the touch technology options, you need to connect the monitor to a PC using USB or RS-232 interface.
