The need to help soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with head injuries has never been greater. So the lineup for this year’s Stand Up for Heroes benefit for the Bob Woodruff Foundation — to be held Nov. 3 at the Beacon Theatre — is greater, too. Producers Andrew Fox and Caroline Hirsch, of Carolines on Broadway, and Bob and Lee Woodruff lined up Jon Stewart to host. Bruce Springsteen, Tony Bennett, Jerry Seinfeld, Margaret Cho, Louis CK and Rosie O’Donnell will perform. This event kicks off the New York Comedy Festival.
