1 UB-T880W / T880 SALES GUIDE Ver. 1.0 Touch the board!
Interactive whiteboard UB-T880W / T880 SALES GUIDE Ver. 1.0

2 Introduction UB-T780 Panasonic has marketed a variety of interactive whiteboards that are operated with an Electronic Pen for use by educational institutions and businesses, such as the UB-T780 and UB-T781 (nicknamed elite Panaboard). Considerable growth can be expected in the use of elite Panaboard as an easy-to-understand presentation tool in offices and an entirely new style of teaching in classrooms. The latest elite Panaboard UB-T880, which allows finger-touch control in addition to Electronic Pen operation, is now entering the market, and is expected to help boost conventional sales to educational institutions and businesses. This Sales Guide shows you how to ensure that users fully understand the many benefits of the new elite Panaboard UB-T880. UB-T781 UB-T880

3 Product Features Use the elite Panaboard to Operate Your PC!
The elite Panaboard lets you display the contents of a PC screen directly onto the board. Users can operate their own familiar application software on the interactive whiteboard for business presentations or school lessons, while also writing in any additional information they want. Windows® applications like PowerPoint and Excel, and even special educational software, can be operated right on the elite Panaboard. This provides powerful support for both business and education, with persuasive presentations backed by Internet resources for the office, and engaging lessons filled with large-screen visuals for the classroom.

4 Three Strengths Meet User Needs
Changes in Teaching Styles Tool Bar Drawbacks Electronic Pen Drawbacks I want all of my students to be able to use the board equally, but the waiting time is too long. I want the students to work on their assignments by themselves. You have to walk up to the board every time you want to use the tool bar. The large tool bar hides the lesson materials. The pen switch is hard to press. Pen operation takes some getting used to. 1 2 3 Three Students Can Operate Simultaneously The Movable Tool Bar Is Easy to Use The Electronic Pen Is Intuitive and Easy to Use Up to three students can write and move objects on the board at the same time. Students actively participate in group work. You can display the menu anywhere, anytime, regardless of your height or position. The tool bar can be easily deleted when it's not needed. Use the dial to easily switch between marker colours and the eraser tool. The pen is designed especially for writing, with easy finger operation. It's light and easy to grip, even for small hands. Turn PowerPoint® pages remotely with the Remote Control Button.

5 Three Students Can Write Simultaneously
1-1 Three Strengths Meet User Needs Three Students Can Write Simultaneously Because up to three points can be simultaneously operated, a team of three students can work together on the same task. This reduces the students' waiting time and promotes greater class participation within limited lesson times. *The photograph is simulated. In actual use, the projector may cast the user's shadow onto the board. *When three users operate the board simultaneously, operating restrictions may exist depending on the application. *Only one function selected from the Select Function menu can be used, so when two or more people operate the board, they must use the same function. 6 Three Students Can Move Objects Simultaneously
1-2 Three Strengths Meet User Needs Three Students Can Move Objects Simultaneously Three people can move objects on the board at the same time. This helps to encourage healthy competition and to get students to participate more actively in the lesson. *The photograph is simulated. In actual use, the projector may cast the user's shadow onto the board. *When three users operate the board simultaneously, operating restrictions may exist depending on the application. *Only one function selected from the Select Function menu can be used, so when two or more people operate the board, they must use the same function.

2 Three Strengths Meet User Needs The Movable Tool Bar Is Easy to Use The tool bar can be displayed with a single touch of the board regardless of the user's height or position, making it easy to operate even for shorter students. You no longer have to walk back and forth in front of the board each time you want to use the tool bar. You can also delete the tool bar when you don't need it, so it won't block the other teaching materials on the board. The tool bar will appear at the spot where you touch the board, so it doesn't get in the way of other people's work. *The photograph is simulated. 22 Using the elite Panaboard book (application software)
As easy and smooth as writing onto a sheet of paper. The elite Panaboard book is the main application included with the elite Panaboard. Its simple operation ensures that even teachers who are not familiar with PCs can easily use it. Materials that were difficult to produce with handwriting, where parts had to be rewritten or lines had to be drawn, or that required especially attractive lettering, are easy to create and beautiful. Basic Procedure 1 Create the material with the elite Panaboard book. P.24 2 Save the data. Show the material on the elite Panaboard during the lesson. 3 P.25 P.26 Add any extra, necessary parts and save again. 4 Use the material for other lessons in the future. 5 Archiving and sharing data is also easy, and because it is all electronic, information and other digital content can be exchanged over the Internet with teachers all over the world. This holds some extremely large possibilities that were not previously imaginable.

26 Environmental Consideration
Panasonic products are gentle on both people and the environment. Gentle on People (Universal Design) The electronic pen was designed for easy gripping by sampling many hand sizes. A special coating film suppresses reflections for easy viewing from any angle. The hard, flat board surface is easy to clean and maintain. The Magnifier that comes with the supplied tools makes it easy to see board images even from a distance. The Windows shift down function in the elite Panaboard book moves the writing point up or down with a single touch, making it easier for small children or people in wheelchairs to write. The UB-T880W/T880 was developed from the dual standpoint of environmental conservation and easy operation. Ecology is a very important point for both educational institutes and businesses today. Gentle on the Environment The information on the board is saved as data. This paperless system helps to stop wasting paper. The pen is also electronic. It doesn't use a water-based marker, so there is no ink to pollute the environment. The body of the UB-T880W/T880 uses none of the substances that are specified as being hazardous by the RoHS Directive. This also helps when the product is eventually disposed of.

27 The Total Classroom Link Solution
