TEMPE, Ariz. – With the Arizona State beach volleyball team back at practice as of this week, the 2019 schedule has been released, which includes two weekends at home.
 
The schedule takes the Sun Devils around the country. Aside from Arizona, they will touchdown in five different states, two of which are trips to the east coast to Georgia and South Carolina. Local fans will have five chances to see Arizona State in action. Including Maroon and Gold, there are three weekends with matches in Tempe and two in Tucson.
 
Before the season starts, the team will hold a Maroon and Gold Scrimmage on February 15. From there, the first four weekends of the season are on the road. ASU starts the season locally at Grand Canyon on February 23 before heading down to Tucson on March 2-3 for the Pac-12 South Tournament. The next weekend, the Sand Devils will travel across the country to Florida for a tournament at Eckerd. The third weekend is another tournament at Arizona on March 15-16.
 
The home opener is March 22-23 when the Sun Devils host USC, Pepperdine and Hawai'i. Wrapping up the month of March, Arizona State heads back east for a tournament at Georgia State on March 29 and 30 before a dual match with South Carolina on March 31.
 
April starts back at home, hosting Arizona, Arizona Christian, Cal Poly San Louis Obispo and Utah from April 6-7. The last two weekends of the regular season are on the road. April 12-13 will see ASU at Texas A&M Kingsville for a tournament. Starting on April 25 is the Pac-12 tournament, which will be held at USC this season.
 
The Sand Devils are coming off an 11-20 record in 2018. There are 11 returning from last year's roster with eight joining the squad.
