This seems like a solid Z77 board for this price and from a big name. I was unfortunate enough to get one with bent LGA socket pins. I was frustrated and started the return process before I wondered if I might be able to fix it. With a magnifying glass and a spudger, I was able to bend the pins back to an acceptable range! I only recommend this for the very steady of hand.

Anyway, I loaded this up with 8GB of 1600 RAM and an i5 3470 and it quickly posted. This is when I did a little dance because of the successful pin repair. Before bothering with an OS, I easily flashed the newest UEFI BIOS, which is quite nice. Pretty good features and a nice layout.

This board posts FAST and loads Windows 8 in a split second (SSD, of course). I built this PC for a friend of mine and she more than once missed the restart process because it happened so fast. Geekbench scores were in the high 12,000's to low 13,000's. Very nice, and similar (or better) scores to my Sandy Bridge i7 machine from a couple years ago and MUCH less money spent on this machine.

Overall, this is a really nice entry level Z77 board. I happened to get one with bent pins, but I don't suspect that this is the norm.

I wanted to use this card for a media center. unfortunately, my existing sound card did't work. I tried 3 more brand new sound cards (all different brands). None worked. SPDIF out din't work. On board SPDIF was working fine. All these sounds cards worked perfectly on my old system. So... PCI slots have issue. I tried to use DDR3 memory from my other machine before I got my new memory. dual memory didn't work when I placed in the specified memory slots. Only one stick worked at any given time. These memory sticks are working fine on my other machine. So.. memory slots have problem. I have wasted so much time thinking that the sounds cards are bad and memory is bad.

Initial setup was fine, no issues, installed latest bios, no problem, drivers (win 7 64)

System ran just fine and then started reporting USB over current.

Motherboard would no longer even boot, got USB warning at POST and system would shut down in 15 seconds.

Removed power, reset BIOS, same issue during post. would not even allow entering BIOS.

First time I've ever had such an issue with what is now probably dozens of ASUS motherboards.

ASUSのZ77マザーの内、1万円以内という条件で購入しましたが、性能・価格共に満足のいく逸品でした。
組み立てから使用にいたるまでトラブルフリーで、必要充分条件を完全に満たした商品でした。
このサイズと価格でCrossFireXにも対応しているのはうれしい限りです。
M-ATXなのでPCIの数は少ないですが、普通のユーザーにはほとんど用なしです。
SATA6.0GBコネクタが2個しかないのと付属品が少ないのが唯一の欠点ですが、ただの粗探しでしょう。
ミニタワーのゲーミングPCが欲しい人にとっては、ベストの選択と思います。

SATAケーブルとUSB2.0リアスロットの購入はお忘れなく。
