Cons: Unless there is some way I'm not aware of, threading the loop on the lens-keeper into the tiny hole is impossible. I put a drop of Krazy Glue in the center of the cap & glue the loop string to it.

The cap does it's intended job, however it's outer diameter in lager than the inner diameter of the lens shade on a Nikon 24-70 and 70-200. So, you have to take the cap off before you can invert the lens shade and vice-versa. but there again the job it was designed for was to protect the glass... which it does fine, it's just annoying that the shade won't fit past the cap.
