The fifth generation Ford Super Duty series of heavy-duty pickup trucks started production for the 2023 model year and is in part responsible for the great overall performance of the F-Series last year when it sold almost 751k units.
The performance was more than enough to claim the first spot among America's best-selling nameplates, as the Chevy Silverado (over 543k), Ram trucks (almost 445k), Toyota RAV4 (434k), and Tesla Model Y (386k) followed by a long distance. Naturally, that means there are a lot of F-150, F-250, or F-350 (etc.) trucks out there going about their business.
Sometimes, that is a bit too common for some folks who would rather stand out in a crowd – even when their vehicle has been the best-selling truck nameplate in America for almost half a century (47 years and counting). No worries, though, as the aftermarket realm is always willing and ready to lend a helping hand. Some even do it for the big heavy-duty rigs, no worries.
One such case is Livonia, Michigan-based Roush Performance – their 2023 Roush Super Duty builds kicked off at $13,400 when the new model year and the fifth generation entered their modification roster, but now, they're a little more expensive at $16,100 above the original vehicle's purchase price. However, be prepared to return to the original sticker price for the 2024 Roush Super Duty, all backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, as always.
Well, that's interesting, right? Anyway, the overhaul applies to F-250 and F-350 models only, so there are limits to 'roushing' away with the modded 2024 Super Duty. The changes include a dual-tipped performance exhaust, Roush x FOX 2.0 performance suspension, upgraded slotted rotors, and an off-road wheel and tire package. The available trim and powertrain options are the Ford F-250 or F-350 Lariat trims with the 6.7-liter turbo-diesel V8, and all feature a choice of ten Roush exterior shades, including the all-new Glacier Grey and Darkened Bronze Metallic colors.
There are also wider painted fender flares with integrated accent lighting to get along with the bespoke Roush touches: windshield banner, hood graphics, redesigned front grille badge, USA flag graphic, Jack Roush's signature, or an optional rocker accent graphic package. The tech and off-road goodies, meanwhile, include the 35-inch General Tire Grabber A/TX all-terrain tires, 20-inch satin black Roush wheels, Roush front brake pack, as well as Roush's Dual Tip Performance DPF-back Exhaust System.
Inside, the tuner has prepared embroidered Roush headrests and bespoke badges, WeatherTech floor liners, or an optional Premium Leather Package designed to "include a touch of luxury while maintaining and improving OE functionality." It swaps the stock seats to Coffee Brown leather with black suede inserts "featuring a stitched hex pattern." Additional perks range from a locking center console vault to a Roush-branded flashlight or gloves.
