Salt star Liev ensured five-year-old Alexander's diving mask was affixed securely and kept a tight hold of his little boy as the pair headed into the waves.

Once in the water, Liev was seen passing on his scuba diving knowledge to his little boy, who appeared more than eager to learn from his Hollywood star father.

However, Liev's youngest son Samuel is still slightly too young to have a go at the underwater skill, and instead cuddled up to his actor father as they strolled along the beach.
