Jaguar’s most iconic model from the Seventies and Eighties is arguably the XJ full-size luxury sedan, but if you dig a little deeper, you might beg to differ. The Jaguar XJ-S, is one of the brand’s most iconic designs, featuring what’s known as ‘flying buttresses’ at the rear on coupe variants, coupled with the automaker’s finest engines at the time. It’s not a sports car or performance machine, but a grand tourer, a mile-muncher that was aimed at the well-heeled who wanted to cover long distances in style, comfort, and luxury. Produced over 21 years, the model would see a facelift in 1991, that also saw the name shortened to XJS. This 1994 Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible is from the facelift era, and a late-model car that was manufactured just two years before production ended in 1996. If you’re a fan of the XJ-S/XJS, this is an example that’s not to be missed out on, as it’s got just 42,325 miles, and comes with two keys, original window sticker, books and manuals included in the sale.
This drop-top 1994 Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible may miss out on the flying buttress design of the coupe, but don’t let that put you down as it still cuts a gorgeous profile in its Glacier White paintjob with light brown convertible top. It rolls on a set of simple five-spoke alloy wheels with tires that have reportedly done less than 200 miles so far. All chrome detailing and badging appears to be in good condition, and the smoked rear lights came like that from factory. The interior sports a Cream Autolux color theme, and offers seating for up to four occupants, although rear legroom may be a little tight. The interior looks in great condition, with the wood-trimmed dash and clear instruments bearing testament to that. The front seats are heated and powered, with memory function and lumbar adjust on the driver’s seat. You’ve got door entry lights, illuminated sun visors, tilt steering wheel with twin horn, remote entry and security system, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and power mirrors. The seller reports that a new JVC head unit with Bluetooth capability has been installed, but the original Jaguar radio is included in the sale should you wish to revert.
This 1994 Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible comes with the largest engine that the XJS range could be had with, a 6.0L V12 that was one of their most powerful at the time. Output was rated at around 318hp and 336lb-ft when new. Drive is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed ZF automatic transmission. The seller reports that this car has a new battery installed, and it’s been stored with a battery tender.

Jaguar is an authentic British car brand with over 80 years of heritage with roots in racing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The marque is world-renowned for creating luxury grand touring vehicles meant for hauling comfortably on cross-country road trips; these vehicles have big engines up front with a long sweeping bonnet with a hint of sportiness. Jaguar is loved by many, coupled with years of racing pedigree, this two-door sports car has been seen to show up on red carpets in the big screen era that took over Hollywood in the 50’s and 60’s. The XJ-S catered to the clients who sought out luxuries with a mighty fire breathing V12 up front for its two-door grand touring escapades that can eat up miles on the highway driving cross country. The XJ-S was renamed the XJ-S HE in July 1981, and it received the new High-Efficiency V12 engine, which provided far better fuel economy. This example is a 1990 XJS V12 Convertible with 50,000 original miles on the odometer.
The Jaguar XJS is a refined luxury grand tourer from British car maker Jaguar. Produced between 1975 and 1996, the XJS has become something of a curio. Thanks to its eye-catching styling, flying buttresses, and growling V12 engine on some variants, it's definitely a classic car to have. While an official convertible was offered, American firm Hess & Eisenhardt was able to create a cleaner profile by specially converting XJS Coupes into Convertibles. This 1988 Jaguar XJS V12 Hess & Eisenhardt Convertible is one such example, and it's a pretty limited-edition car. Records are sparse, but it's widely believed that just 2,100 cars were converted in this manner. This example comes to you with 80,500 miles on its odometer and is ready for more, in all its power-operated soft-top glory.
The 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible represents a timeless icon of British automotive craftsmanship, embodying elegance and performance. With a reported 80,000 miles on the newly swapped LS1 V8 up front, this imported classic from Great Britain seamlessly blends the allure of a legendary marque with contemporary upgrades. Dressed in silver, the exterior exudes sophistication, while the navy blue interior showcases the quintessential Jaguar luxury. Beyond its factory condition, this XJS Convertible surprises with custom touches, making it a distinctive and exhilarating British cruiser.
The Jaguar F-type is a modern-day automotive legend, it's one of those cars that lived up to its predecessor in every aspect and added to a long list of performance powerhouses by Jaguar. If there was any indication that you need a Jaguar F-type in your life, look no further than the recent Grand Tour special where Jeremy Clarkson takes a heavily modified Jaguar F-Type and drives it across a scorching desert in style. Present today is our 2015 Jaguar F-Type R; this stylish British powerhouse has a reported 8,600 miles on the clock and is the best way to savor a quick drive up to your preferred back road.
The XK is a classic Grand Tourer in the way that only Jaguar could do them. It's one of the brand’s most-loved nameplates. The XK8 and XKR featured a long hood and large boot that was perfectly sized for golf bags. Inside, the interior was a typically British affair, with plenty of old-world charm and seating for four. The X100 XK series was available in both coupe and convertible and was exclusively V8-powered, either by a naturally aspirated motor in the XK8 or a supercharged version in the XKR. Our featured car is the pick of the bunch: a 2002 Jaguar XKR Convertible with a 4.0-liter supercharged V8 engine under the hood. It’s offered here with a reported 74,100 miles on the clock.
Creating a buzz in an automotive world that's bustling with the latest news on EVs and high-performance machines is challenging; very few machines creep through the cracks of auto journalism and into the pages of automotive magazines and the hearts of petrolheads. Present today is a machine that stole the show on its debut and looks like this fire-breathing 2019 Jaguar XE SV Project 8. With a reported 3,222 miles on the clock, this British Performance powerhouse is loved by many; even the legendary Harry Metcalfe owns one and spends most of his time behind the wheel.
