Jump 'n Bump - Cute bunnies battling it out in this teased Commodore Amiga OCS and Sega Mega Drive game! [Alpha Available]

Titled as ' Jump 'n Bump ', this game was originally released for free by Brainchild Design in 1998 for MS-DOS.  It supported 4 players and was about bunnies crushing each other to death to get the highest score. So why are we mentioning this now? Well not only was the game released some time ago as a remastered version for modern systems by Domarius Games(link). But at some point in the near future, Earok will be porting the game over to the Commodore Amiga and Sega Mega Drive via the Scorpion Engine.

Thanks to another heads up from a good friend of ours , we've been told that if you're looking for a rather cool looking game for your Commodore 64, then make sure to check out drmortalwombat's latest game release of 'Corescape'; An arcade shoot 'em up in which you must battle your way out of galactic hub space station through eight stages of wave blasting action. Breakthru - A Commodore Amiga conversion/port of a Data East Arcade game has been released!

If you're looking for further Arcade updates on the site, other than the ones we featured previously such as Final Fight Enhanced, Donkey Kong and Trojan, then we have just been told by our good friend Saberman through Facebook, that AcidBottle together with JMD(Audio) has finally released the Arcade to Commodore Amiga game of Breakthru; A 1986 side scrolling shooter by Data East in which you must drive a military vehicle through enemy territory to rescue your PK430 aircraft.

We've featured a lot of Arcade to Amiga conversions/ports throughout the years, from the more recent Final Fight Enhanced to Super Xevious, Flying Shark and even Green Beret. Tut Tut - A new game previously released for the Commodore PET is now available for the MSX

Thanks to a heads up by a good friend of ours on Facebook, we've learnt of a new game that you can play right now called 'Tut Tut'; A game that isn't just puzzle and part action, but it will transport you to Egypt in the 1920s whereby stories are told of mummies strangling would-be tomb raiders! To coincide with this news, while you can play the game on your MSX by Shieladixon, the game was also previously released for the Commodore PET by Tynemouth Software as well as the ZX Spectrum, Jupiter Ace / Minstrel 4th and TRS-80 MC-10 by David Stephenson.

Final Fight Enhanced - Hot News!! An enhanced Amiga version of a classic Beat 'em up from 1991 is finally here!

This week just gets better and better for the latest Amiga news stories, as thanks to a heads up from a good friend of ours on the EAB forums, we've been told that Brick Nash has finally released the enhanced version of the 1991 US GOLD published Beat 'em up of 'Final Fight' for the Amiga; A game that when it was originally released back in the 90's, was regarded as either a failure, or just a pretty terrible game suffering the same fate as the Street Fighter II Amiga port ". To coincide with this news, provided below is the latest footage of this incredible looking enhanced version of Final Fight.

The Mandarin 2 - A new Star Wars action game now for the Amstrad CPC by Mananuk

If you're looking for a star wars game with plenty of action for your Amstrad CPC, then it might be worth checking out Mananuk's new game of ' The Mandarin 2 '; A game that not only features 5 levels of varying themes such as General Limoncello´s base, self-destruct activated, outer space and Limoncello's ship. But if you have a ZX Spectrum, you can also play the same game that was released last month. To coincide with this news, Saberman has provided a video showing the game in action.

Donkey Kong - A famous 80's game as an Arcade like Commodore Amiga conversion gets new footage!

It was only just the other week that we informed you that JOTD, who is also behind the brilliant Arcade conversions of Galaxian and Super Xevious 1200 for the Amiga, was going to be doing another conversion/port of the classic 80's game of 'Donkey Kong'. Well if you're hoping for some up to date news of this upcoming Arcade game, then we have just found out through the EAB forums, that JOTD has shown off some new gameplay footage. Footage which shows the animation, sound effects, and all four screens.

Trojan - 1986 Arcade Beat em up is still coming to the Amiga(AGA)!

Possibly the best news for this morning and one I really think is going to get those jaws dropping *AGAIN* throughout the Amiga community, as trawling the EAB forums, we have found out that the Arcade version of Trojan by Capcom, is still coming to the Commodore Amiga as an AGA port by skyzoo73. A game that can be seen in this very early footage showing some of the levels, the enemies and that all important soundtrack provided by the creator.

Miracle Boy in Dragon Land - In development Atari 520 ST game as an unofficial Wonder Boy sequel gets a demo!

From the latest Arcade like experience of Wonder Boy on the Amiga, to the more modern spiritual successor of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, this game series is certainly a fan favourite. Well here with another Wonder Boy story, as we have been informed that Samuel Blanchard has released the first public demo for his unofficial Wonder Boy sequel for the Atari 520 ST called 'Miracle Boy in Dragon Land'. A game that can be seen in these videos which have been provided by the creator and Saberman.

There is Hope - A new cartridge music game album by Remute for the Atari Jaguar

Thanks to Remute who contacted us just recently, he has told us that he has released the latest Album  for the Atari Jaguar called There is Hope. As in the words of Remute "Within only five years Remute became the trailblazer for game cartridge based music albums delivering releases for consoles like Super Nintendo, Gameboy, Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64 and many more. In 2024 he surprises us with the very first music album for Atari’s ill-fated, but immensely powerful Jaguar – the first 64-bit game console ever released back in 1993".

Silent Hill 3 - Konami's classic horror gets a review from Cola Powered Gamer

Silent Hill 3 can be considered a fitting end to the original trilogy, showing how far the series has come. It is actually a canonical sequel to the first game, making the Silent Hill 2 more like a spin-off game that can stand on its own. Released just two years after Silent Hill 2, the game was originally planned to be a rail shooter, following somewhat slow sales of SH2 in Japan. Once again developed by Team Silent, the game this time draws inspiration from the movie Jacob’s Ladder and works by Stephen King. Development this time around, was shorter compared to the one that developed SH 2 a few years prior.

Prospector 2024 - A creepy platformer from the ZX Spectrum arrives on the Amstrad CPC!

It's back to the Amstrad CPC for a Monday morning news story, as we've just been informed by XeNoMoRPH that the previously released ZX Spectrum game of Prospector ', which was developed by Aleisha M. Cuff (AMCGames) through the use of AGDx, has now been released for the Amstrad CPC as "Prospector 2024 - A ZX2CPC portage Mod 2024" by Cyrille Ayor61. An action platformers with a creepy overtone than also be seen being played via the latest footage provided by both Saberman and XeNoMoRPH. 

Huck On The Mississippi - A C64 game that's inspired by The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

If you're looking for a game that's fun for all the family, then make sure to check out Frank Abbing's latest Commodore 64 game of Huck On The Mississippi. A game that that looks to be inspired by Huck and Jim's Journey Down the Mississippi River in the Novel, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. To coincide with this news, not only has Saberman provided a video showing the game in action, but the creator has provided some info about the development of the game that was originally started way back in 1987.

Dungeon Adventurer - Traverse the maze of a dark Tomb in this new Atari XL/XE game

Thanks to a heads up earlier today from Saberman, we've been told that Tatqoo&Dely has released the final version of their new game for the Atari XL/XE called 'Dungeon Adventurer'. A game in which you must traverse a dark tomb that will only illuminate with the use of the luminous stones!
