Here to write. If it goes viral, it's not because of me. It's because it's true.

When former US President Barack Obama was asked to share his most important career advice for young people, he replied... "Just learn how to get stuff done." It's a simple yet powerful answer. You can talk about things all day, but the power lies not in what you say, but in what you do. (Via LinkedIn News)

In June 2016, President Obama, in a town hall in Elkhart, Indiana, asserted that American manufacturing was merely a thing of the past. When asked by an audience member why blue-collar jobs continue to disappear, the 44th President admitted that good-paying jobs in America were moving overseas under his watch. Mr. Obama asserted that “some of those jobs of the past are just not going to come back.” “When somebody says . . . that he’s going to bring all these jobs back, well, how exactly are you going to do that? What are you going to do?,” Mr. Obama asked. “There’s no answer to it. . . . What magic wand do you have?” Then Trump did it. Obama was a joke.

Well, he certainly ‘got stuff done’ by becoming President of the United States. Wow, that was very good!!! After that … maybe there were a lot of hugely disappointed people in America during his term in office which didn’t appear to be terribly transformative. But, he did it again … by getting his golf handicap ‘done! ‘Just learn how to get things done’ … it’s all a bit simplistic and smug… tell us more? 🎥

I wish he had gotten done what he wanted to do for our country. He met with so much resistance and disrespect and was too willing to compromise to the point of not selecting two judges on the Supreme Court! He had so much potential and had the Senate and House majority. I can’t see why there couldn’t have been more things done. Getting things done is not just saying something, but fighting for it! This generation has never had the moxie and the sticktoitiveness! The Democrats never seem to have a winning strategy, like the Republicans, who always pose in a united front, even when they hate each other. America 🇺🇸 is on its rapid descent.

Yes, he was "getting stuff done" indeed. U.S. military forces have been at war for all eight years of Obama’s tenure, the first two-term president with that distinction! He launched air-strikes or military raids in at least seven countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan. Yet the U.S. faces more threats in more places than at any time since the Cold War, according to U.S. intelligence. For the first time in decades, there is at least the potential of an armed clash with America’s largest adversaries, Russia and China. Not a role model.

No matter who comes and goes in Washington, the US gov't policies are the same. The US stokes latent hatreds in other countries and creates terrorist movements for embedded intelligence gathering. It supports NGO and Opposition movements worldwide while doing business with the gov't of the day. The US fights Karma as seen in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Ukraine. The more it fights Karma, the more that Karma will fight it. In the end, the US will abruptly pull out from a war and start a new war elsewhere. After Afghanistan, it went to Ukraine. Karma does not exist unless we create it. India, unlike US, isn't party to illegalities like pitting one country against another. India remains the only country on Earth that can put China in its place. Trump said that. Trump also said that after the US, India was the most important country in the global security framework. The others, in order of importance, were China, Russia and Japan. He felt that NATO should focus on internal security in western Europe. Trump saw no reason for the war mongering UK-US Special Relationship. The QUAD, in the Indo-Pacific Theatre, comprised the US, India, Japan and Australia. India isn't happy that the QUAD covers the Indian Ocean.

I want to agree on this.... But I keep seeing problem describers get rewarded. They will sound like the next hero in an epic adventure. Those who can solve the problem.... Well, the problems are solved... right? They are usually forgotten. If they can solve the problem... They are rewarded with more problems. If they can't.... Out they go. I am a problem solver by the way.

Loved this piece of advice! Then realized we have just the job that reflects this advice perfectly We are recruiting a project exec role, you could call yourself an Event Planner, Team support, or marketing executive, the job as title is varied, but we need someone to work as part of a team to support all things event and experiential. I honestly cannot tell you everything you will be doing daily but we need to know you will find a way to handle it … sound exciting ?? Experience in a similar role will be celebrated but if you have an 'I can handle it attitude' get in touch today and start your career
