This 1941 Buick Special Sedanet is a terrific custom build that gives you a great cruiser style on the outside, a loaded interior, an adjustable air ride suspension underneath, and a big caddy V8 under the hood. It makes for the kind of full custom that few expected, but everyone will never forget.

The Sedanet is a special coupe with fastback lines, and the trim tag even tells us this was the more powerful special edition. This is the mighty 500 cubic-inch V8, which was their largest displacement big block. So it makes plenty of coupe-moving torque, especially when it inhales with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and exhales through a glasspack dual exhaust. There are also nice supporting components like an HEI distributor and an electric fan. As you look underneath the car, the suspension keeps much of its classic style, which reminds you that Buick made quite a comfortable car even before WWII. And this is enhanced by the air ride suspension that lets you dial-in your comfort and stance. Add in power steering, power brakes, and a stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, and this Buick lives up to its custom cruiser style.
