[SOLD] 1985 L69 5-speed IROC-Z - 33K miles. Original Survivor

Located in Bellevue, WA 98007
USA

Car of the month, October 2019.
This 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 IROC-Z is finished in the factory original Bright Blue Metallic over a black cloth interior and is powered by an “L69” 5.0-liter high output V8, and paired with a T5 5-speed manual transmission. This combination was one of only 2,497 units produced in 1985, making it the highest-powered manual, and rarest of the first year IROC-Z Camaros. This IROC-Z shipped new with the T-Tops option, electric remote mirrors, intermittent wipers, rear window defogger, rear wiper and the interior roof console with removable flashlight. Performance options also included the G80 limited slip differential (3.73:1) and J65 Disc brakes on all four wheels. Manual door locks and windows are present, and this is a factory non-A/C vehicle. This IROC-Z is showing 33K miles and has a clean AutoCheck report and a Clean Washington State title.
The body is finished in Bright Blue Metallic and features IROC-Z graphics, hood louvers and a rear lip spoiler. A factory optioned rear wiper is also present. Detailed photos can be found at this link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/25y2841PgD9ifZ5U6
Stock 16” five-spoke alloy wheels feature IROC-Z center caps and wear new 245/50ZR16 BF Goodrich G-Force Comp-2 tires.
The interior is all original, and upholstered in black cloth and features manual controls throughout, the original AM/FM cassette stereo, and factory glass T-Tops. The original T-Top bag stores the T-tops when removed from the roof.
Instrumentation consists of an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,500 rpm redline and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 33,434 miles.
The 5.0-liter “High Output” V8 features a Rochester Quadrajet 4-bbl carburetor and produced 190 horsepower when new. Power is routed through a Borg Warner T5 Manual 5-speed transmission. The previous owner installed aftermarket headers, which remain on the vehicle.
According to the Autocheck report, the vehicle was sold new and has always been registered in Washington state. The Autocheck report supports the claimed original mileage, with odometer readings of 27,000 in 1994, 28,000 in 1999, 28,268 miles in 2003 and 29,435 miles in 2005.
The battery was replaced in December 2019, the brakes were serviced and an alignment was performed in April of 2019.
I am the third owner, and can provide an ownership history summary to the purchaser
Included is a copy of the original dealer invoice, a reproduction window sticker, GM factory service manual and parts manual, custom embroidered fabric car cover, the original GM keychain & keys and a 1985 sales brochure featuring the L69 IROC-Z.

Nice car. But for the love of God, turn your (front) wheels the other way for pics.

We are but temporary caretakers of these beautiful machines...

Congratulations to Dakota. I'm sure you will enjoy looking after her as much as I did.
