CARSStudebaker died but its classic cars live onUSA TODAYOn Sept. 20 and 21 there will be an annual car event dedicated to all things Studebaker, the defunct American automaker that got its start with horse-drawn buggies in the early 1850s. Before shutting its doors in the 1960s, the company rolled out various modes of transportation including carriages ridden by U.S. presidents, World War II cargo trucks and retro sports cars, some of which will be on display at the Studebaker Swap Meet in Dunkirk, New York over the weekend. If you can't make it to the free event, you can still take a trip down memory lane with these Studebaker models through the years.Tariq Zehawi, NorthJersey.comCar lovers look over a super charged Studebaker Daytona Lark at the Broad Ripple Brewpub Hoods & Hops Classic Car Show, held at Opti-Park in Broad Ripple, Sunday October 23rd, 2016.Michelle Pemberton, The Indianapolis StarJohn Drumm, left, of Manitowoc, shows Gary Huempfner, of Whitelaw, the light on his 1921 Studebaker Roadster at the 33rd annual Kiwanis Car Show is hosted at Washington Park on Sunday, Aug. 9 in Manitowoc.
