Theresia Struniak, 84, passed away January 24, 2021 at Los Robles Hospital, Thousand Oaks, California.

Theresia was born July 4, 1936 in Ottenhofen Hausnummer, Germany to Kasper and Maria Rechtfertig and was one of five children.

She met her husband, Frank, in France, while he was serving in the United States Air Force at the time. They married in 1959 and had two daughters. In 1963 she became a proud American by obtaining her citizenship.

Her favorite things to do were playing bingo, going to Laughlin and Chumash Indian Casino with her husband and friends, Bobbie and Charlie. She also enjoyed making embroidered and knitted gifts for her friends. Everyone loved her cooking and baking, especially her German recipes. She was devoted to her family members and friends and would do anything for them. Everyone who met Theresia loved her.

Theresia is survived by her husband, Frank Struniak; her sister, Marianne Zima; daughters, Diane Gritzmacher and Nancy (husband, Todd Collins); and 4 grandchildren, Bryan, Nicholas, Danielle and Sean.
