What is the size of the house connecter, my old machine was 5/8", I'm hoping to use the same hose

I had read a lot of reviews prior to purchasing this washer, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations! There is plenty of power and for all that power there is not as much noise as compared to weaker washers I have used in the past; it is a heavy machine which attests to it being built well; the only negatives would be the plastic levers; one for the choke, and one for the throttle; I could foresee those getting brittle with age, but a little gentleness when adjusting might prevent them from breaking years down the road. If you are thinking about getting one, just do it!

Power house!

I recently bought this high power pressure washer because cleaning up everything with a smaller gas powered pressure washer took 3 to 4 times longer than it does with this unit.This unit also has some awesome power. My body gets a major workout using this for just a few hours because of the high power coming from the wand. It's really nice that you can dial the power up and down as needed. I love the time savings from having the extra power to make 1 pass over stubborn dirt and stains. The customer service is top notch should you need them for any reason.

I bought this to use at home. We now live in Puerto Rico and the houses here have flat roofs that often need cleaning. This is great for that along with driveways, walls, fences, etc,etc This item works so well and is so powerful I am thinking about turning it into a buisness.

best machine ever

Paired this Champion (100386) power washer to a Ridgid (RD31018) surface cleaner and had amazing results. There were oil stains in my concrete paver driveway that a power washing company could not remove that this combination did (along with some ZEP industrial purple degreaser). I was looking at other brand power washers with similar specs. to purchase but after reading the reviews on this machine and comparing prices, I'm happy with the Champion product. The customer service service was great as well when I called with questions about the machine. Be very aware this is a very powerful machine that could do damage if not used properly or the proper nozzles for what ever you are cleaning are not used.

Impressive Machine

We decided our 2nd pressure washer in 35 years needed to be retired and wanted something to get our work done ASAP.  This 13 HP pressure washer is the answer.  It has all the engine features anyone might desire and a commercial grade pump that allows the pressure to be adjusted.  Any of the components can be replaced if they fail and the customer support from Champion is the best I have experienced in years.  
The box was a bit rough, but it was fully intact with no obvious damage when delivered by UPS.   The packaging was very good, but we discovered some wand and lance damage.  We reported this as instructed by the shipping information and 2 days later we had a new wand and lance.
Using the washer the first weekend was pretty intimidating.  It starts on the first pull and cleans washed concrete driveways 4-5 times faster than the 6 HP washer it is replacing.  We bought a three nozzle water broom with the 6" adjustable height wheels from an on-line vendor that specializes in pressure washers and it works great with the Champion PW.  Much easier than swinging a wand back and forth.  I tried it out on wood decks and at the lower pressure setting it does great with no cutting into the softer wood.  Next will be washing vehicles which I have no doubt it will shine.
My only caution is to be sure you have the physical strength to handle this level of equipment; my wife is not really comfortable handling the wand at full pressure unless she has the wheeled broom attached.
This is the first time I've been impressed with a product/company enough to convince me to write a review.

Great Pressure Washer and Outstanding Support

Used a couple of times way more power than what I need. But love that you can adjust.
Bought it on line, the rep. Said he didn't know much about Champion pressure washers. But Champion was a great company so he knew it would be great.
Wasn't looking for something so big but the price convinced me. 
Better to have and not need than to need and not have!!

I would buy this unit again and recommend this unit to anyon

Glad I upgraded to this beast!  Used 6-8 times a year for 10-12 hour days (sat/Sun) to clean up after desert storms.  If I used it more often it might be easier to start.  Already use fresh gas each time and do not store it with gas.  tough to start.  Easy to use once you get it going.  Replaced a smaller Honda that had 2300RPI that was easier to start.  Gave the Honda to my neighbor.  Once I get "the beast" started I finish in 1/2 the time he takes.

Beast

it is a beast. So far it starts easily and runs strong. It is everything I hoped for in a powerful pressure washer. The price you pay for all this power is weight. This thing weighs a ton. The hose needs to be strong enough to handle the pressure so it is heavy too. Overall I am favorably impressed but I will rarely put in a vechicle. Too much weight for that.
