The unit contains a generously featured pre-amplifier, 4 output stages, one of the world’s<br />

finest analogue tuners and a <strong>CD</strong> player of the latest generation. The pre-amplifier offers a<br />

wide range of sockets and operational facilities ranging from the tape deck with background<br />

control, via the ACE module, a timer module with alarm function, to an additional pre-<br />

amplifier AUX input. The sensitivity of this input is variable, allowing you to balance out<br />

differences in volume between different source devices. A digital volume control system is<br />

fitted, offering a range of 63 discrete increments. The volume of the loudspeaker pairs A and<br />

B can be controlled either together or independently, which is a highly practical feature<br />

where the second pair are located in an adjacent room. The unit also features a separate<br />

output for an active sub-woofer.<br />
