Technical Program Manager, Data Center Services

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • 3 years of experience with Global Data Center design, construction, and deployment practices.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with robotics, industrial automation, data center management, or warehouse management.
  • Experience in problem-solving and technical innovation.
  • Excellent automation and business intelligence skills.

About the job

The Data Center Delivery and Engineering (DCDE) team is a collection of architectural design experts, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, construction project managers, water/air gurus, data center services manager and project controls managers who plan, design, and construct efficient data centers.

In this role, you will report into the Data Center Services (DCS) team and work with the various cross-functional teams that help design and deliver critical capacity using performance specifications. In addition, you will coordinate and align with numerous cross-functional teams focusing on design, construction, sustainability, and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Implement innovative construction initiatives focused on improving project delivery, use of construction robotics, and sustainability.
  • Lead the teams that design and build our critical data centers across a large geography to ensure consistency and delivery is aligned across all the regions in EMEA, for performance specification driven projects. 
  • Organize team feedback, lessons learned, and measure project performance across the lifecycle of the project through closeout.
  • Drive the construction team performance excellence by working with cross-functional teams and partnering with local site teams prior to project execution to ensure clean handoff.
  • Continue to implement improvements in delivery and execution from the pilot sites and long-term with new business requirements and focus on continual improvement.
