Finance Program Manager, Regulatory Affairs (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in corporate finance at a multinational organization managing global initiatives.
  • Experience with program management and process improvements.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently in order to interact with internal and external partner teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's, JD degree, or relevant certification in Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Experience with financial systems and processes, including SEC filings/financial statements.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage and coordinate multiple projects, and manage multiple teams simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to influence across all levels and functions of the organization and partner effectively.
  • Ability to take initiative to address problems and make continuous process improvements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Finance Project Managers drive critical priorities for Google by leading and assisting in projects of all sizes. Drawing from your strong financial background, you work with a diverse team to manage projects from concept to implementation and keep Google-wide stakeholders informed as you go. You get down into the details of complex analyses without losing sight of the overall objective. When working on multiple projects at once, you intuitively know which issues to highlight and can bring key decision makers together to come up with effective solutions. Once a project is completed, you're able to clearly communicate the results and draw the key learnings for senior management. You are efficient and organized, making the most of everyone's abilities and holding the team to a high standard.

As a Finance Program Manager, you will manage complex regulatory and legal requests for financial information or business sensitive metrics through strong partnerships, core program management skills, and visibility to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Support Legal teams on requests for financial data and business sensitive metrics and ensure Finance leadership teams are consulted on strategy and usage.
  • Mobilize the appropriate Finance and cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, International Controllership, Data Analytics) to compile the information in the required time-frame, leveraging previous submissions or other off-the-shelf work product if available.
  • Coordinate Finance, Legal and Executive leadership to ensure all appropriate approvals are received prior to releasing financial data by resolving all outstanding challenges, questions, or requests for additional information.
  • Maintain relevant information on all requests, including status, next steps, risks, and other metrics, to provide regular reporting. 
  • Create and maintain working relationships with stakeholders.
