Go To Market Manager, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience with data analysis, process management, change management communications, and analysis insight.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience generating insights from analysis on large data sets to drive business decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
  • Experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment for a complex organization.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and turn them into compelling narratives for different audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and business acumen.

The YouTube Strategy team focuses on our highest priorities, solving complex, ambiguous problems that span early stage growth initiatives, investing in our largest product or business areas, making major operational or organizational changes, and assessing strategic rationale for YouTube external investment opportunities. Throughout, we provide analytics-based insights, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, help YouTube teams drive our most important strategic initiatives, and advise our senior leadership on the best path forward.

The YouTube Business Go to Market Team is responsible for leading global, cross-functional, strategic initiatives to drive the unprecedented growth and health of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include business operations, partner portfolio management, incentives design, and business strategy for our business in EMEA.

Responsibilities

  • Define actionable plans and roadmaps and align cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful implementation of change initiatives.
  • Design, pilot, and deploy regional GTM strategy including service models, workflow design, incentives, partner segmentation, strategic partner manager tools/resources, and go-to-market motions.
  • Partner with front-line leadership and cross-functional partners to help design, shape, launch, and manage vision and annual roadmaps.
  • Drive end to end project management and change management to launch and land innovative initiatives with partner teams.
  • Identify tools, processes, and automation that improve partner manager processes; develop plans to implement changes that help the business deliver on key results.
