Strategic Partnerships Manager, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing partnerships.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent investigative, communication, and influencing skills.

About the job

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving YouTube's content objectives. You will inspire, educate, and collaborate with creators and content partners to enhance their understanding of how YouTube's tools and platforms can expand their audience reach. You will be responsible for managing existing partnerships, initiating new relationships, and identifying business growth opportunities within the Media and Entertainment industry. You will develop and execute effective vertical content strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop commercial and strategic relationships with our key aimed partners in Media and Entertainment (e.g., TV, Film, Sport, Family, and Anime).
  • Manage partners on YouTube to maximize reach, watch time, and audience engagement.
  • Link Media and Entertainment partners to internal cross-functional opportunities (e.g., product launches, content funding programs, etc.).
  • Lead in defining content goals and managing alignment across Marketing, Operations, Sales, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Provide insight, understanding, and leadership for country specific issues and opportunities.
