Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience working in a consumer hardware technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience with standard audio measurement and analysis tools (e.g., ACQUA, SoundCheck, Audio Precision, Audition, Matlab/Python).
- Experience with hearable audio systems (e.g., acoustics, transducers, microphones, ANC, and digital signal processing).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP).
- 7 years of experience with consumer hardware, producing new technology.
- Experience in hearable audio system design, tuning and validation, including ANC, transparency and playback
- Experience in objective and subjective assessment of hearables audio quality and ANC/Transparency performance.
- Experience with control theory and ANC.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, Acoustic, Algorithm, and Software teams to define and develop hearable audio systems and deliver solutions that meet key user experiences.
- Own tuning, evaluation and debugging of hearable audio algorithms, including Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency, and Playback.
- Be an expert in objective and subjective testing, develop tools, tuning strategies and automate new methodologies to launch hearable audio solutions.
- Validate and debug audio system software, coordinate on algorithm enhancements with developers.
