Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital or private equity role, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • Experience supporting or deploying strategy (driving complex initiatives) for sales or partner teams.
  • Familiarity with annual planning and Go-To-Market strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

The Go-To-Market (GTM) Operations team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting Go-To-Market strategy and ensuring flawless execution and operations against that strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic and have a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The Awareness and Consideration Solutions organization exists to fuel sustained growth of Google’s upper and mid-funnel advertising solutions, across Google Ads and Google Marketing Platform. To do so, we take an analytical approach to understand our advertising portfolio and prioritize the biggest business opportunities, work cross-functionally with Sales and Global Product Solutions to establish and execute Go-To-Market strategies to activate at scale, and keep a pulse on how the marketplace is evolving to stay ahead of future growth opportunities.

As the Strategy And Operations Associate you will wok with Awareness & Consideration (A&C) leadership as well as partner teams to help define the Strategy as well as the activation plan for the DVA business across Americas.

You will create and deploy activation strategies (plays) that drive advertiser success and Google’s growth. You will work with teams within Go-To-Market (product leads, ABS&O) as well as with sales Go-To-Market and gTech to define the operational plans to drive activation of the plans.

You will provide feedback (gathered from sales, Go-To-Market, others) to A&C leadership on the performance of the Strategy and its activation to help fine tune the plans through the year.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,000-$136,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the Go-To-Market strategy activation by helping define play structure, target advertisers, and segmentation.
  • Partner with in-market and counterparts (GTM, Sales) to activate key plays on a quarterly basis to drive play adoption and impact.
  • Gather feedback from sales and other teams on strategy (and its activation) to provide inputs to A&C leadership for updates on plans/activation.
  • Support development of the annual strategy for the A&C business with inputs from A&C GTM leads, Sales, GPS, and other product GTM teams.
  • Own offerings mapping to key priorities and plays to effectively track adoption of A&C strategy and plays across ALCS. Define and co-own the the operations for strategy activation for A&C strategy in co-ordination with gTech, ABS&O, and the GPS teams.
