Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently in order to interact in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, digital marketing, and e-commerce.
  • Experience in driving business growth and building relationships with C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in cross-collaborative stakeholder management.
  • Ability to be organized, responsible, and work well with a team.
  • Ability to succeed in an ambiguous environment with investigative, communication, problem-solving, creativity, and project management skills.
  • Excellent business acumen and sales skills.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As an Account Strategist, you will be in charge of a portfolio of digitally emerging businesses from small to medium-sized business accounts, tech startups to big businesses that are newly embarking on their digital journey. You will provide them with excellent consultancy services and help advertisers grow their business through a combination of one-to-one, scalable outreach and support.

In this role, you will work in partnership with advertisers to understand their strategies and increase their understanding of Google's advertising solutions, as well as provide them with tactical implementation and maintenance support of their Google Ads accounts. You'll deliver value through creative advertising solutions and strategic advice.

Responsibilities

  • Create data-driven, long-term plans for diverse customers across verticals and industries within a geographical market to optimize advertising solutions and contribute to Google's growth.
  • Conduct consultations on a daily basis to understand customer needs and develop tailored advertising strategies, with proper analysis, research and preparation prior to the engagement.
  • Develop partnership with customers and agencies to drive product adoption and business growth to achieve mutual benefits for all parties involved.
  • Prioritize customer experience while meeting growth goals and ensuring optimal Return on Investment (ROI) for advertisers.
  • Work with the team to achieve market goals, implementing creative solutions, and sharing performance-enhancing suggestions.
