Analyst, Platform and Journey Analytics Measurement

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution development, or technical consulting.
  • Experience working with SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in Website Analysis.
  • Experience in strategic analysis or operations management support, with presentations to executives (e.g., consulting, management reporting, Six Sigma certification).
  • Experience running experiments.
  • Experience in another language such as Python, Java, or R.

gTech’s Analytics, Products and Tools team (gAPT) leverages user insights and Generative AI technology to improve or automate Google's Ads customer support experiences. gAPT partners closely with gTech’s Support, Professional Services, Product Management, and Development teams to simplify our Ads support products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative data analysis to make product and business recommendations (e.g., impact analysis, market and user understanding, strategic analysis and user behavior).
  • Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders.
  • Develop, plan, and execute on experiments, build and prototype ideas on the product at scale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs, formulate and complete analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables, and presentations.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Google data structures, metrics, and best practices advocating for changes where needed for scaled support.
