Strategic Partner Manager, Scaled Music Content Partnerships, YouTube (Thai)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, management consulting, or investment banking, in the digital content, media, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Thai language fluently to support client relationship management in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in the music, video, media, or entertainment industry.
  • Experience in an external-facing customer interaction role with customer support, sales, or relationship development.
  • Experience working on spreadsheet analysis, public presentations, and data management, with the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally.
  • Ability to learn technological concepts, financial models, education/news policies, and copyright, as well as interact at all levels of an organization/cross-functionally.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation planning, and time management skills, with effective attention to detail.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

As a Strategic Partner Manager of Scaled Content Partnerships for YouTube Music vertical, you'll be as comfortable negotiating complex content-licensing agreements with partners as you are working cross-functionally with colleagues in Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance, Communications and Legal to ensure our partners are positioned for success and our users enjoy the best experience possible.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and help grow a scaled portfolio of high potential YouTube artists/Record Labels, Music Distributors and Artist Management Companies towards strategic goals, including maximizing watch time hours, product activation, platform engagement, audience growth, community interaction and growth by developing customized analytical strategies and business plans.
  • Work collaboratively with your team and cross-functional partners to develop and implement creative ways to improve client relationships, grow distribution and drive growth.
  • Measure and analyze overall artist/label performance. Streamline operational workflows and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners. Manage day-to-day partnership activities with a focus on existing performance growth, and advocate internally on behalf of partners.
  • Identify areas of demand for regional content and prioritize the acquisition and onboarding of new music content partners from the regions.
