Business Development Manager, Google Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in business development or sales strategy.
  • Experience working with the Air Force.
  • Active US Government Top Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense, US Air Force (USAF), US Space Force (USSF) and COCOM organizations, budgets, missions and personnel.
  • Understanding of and ability to navigate agreements, personnel categories and discussions with government, FSIs and resellers.
  • Ability to tell a story about how Google can deliver mission outcomes to the Department of Defense (DoD).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$164,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive additional constituents (e.g., MAJCOMS, Mission Owners, Programs of Record) into the Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO) to operationalize their data.
  • Work with government stakeholders to understand how Google can operationalize legacy/captive data sources by integrating with API frameworks, enabling data analytics to create predictive outcomes and improve readiness.
  • Facilitate Leader connections for DAF Field Sales Representative and Custom Engineers across all missions where needed, opening doors and translating mission requirements into Google solutions to deliver impactful outcomes based on Google technology and global scale.
